HSICON 2019: 13th Annual Conference of Hernia Society of India

Calling all the surgeons in the World performing hernia surgery.

The science of hernia repair is undergoing a sea of change yet again. Questions are coming faster than answers - is it safe to put mesh intra peritoneally? Is bridging the defect acceptable? Can we put in a mesh that leaves no residue? Will the robot replace human in hernia repair?

Not to mention the Rise of acronyms like eTEP, TAR, SCOLA, MILOS, MILAR, TARM, TAPE, and all other alphabets from A to Z.

It’s like being lost like an Alice in the Wonderland. The right question to ask is probably the same as that of the White Rabbit to the King “Where should I begin?”

In HSICON 2019, on 29-31 August, at Kolkata, we will answer this question like the King did

“Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the End”

And therefore we have titled the conference as



Literally, we will pack all that is happening in the Hernia Wonderland in these 3 days.

You can’t afford to miss it. No one can!
