Brant Heniford MD, FACS, FBCS, FEBS, MGHS

Dr. Brant Heniford grew up in rural South Carolina and completed his undergraduate degree and played football at Clemson University. After attending the Medical University of South Carolina, he completed his surgical residency and research fellowship at the University of Louisville and a fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He has been on the faculty of the Cleveland Clinic and, subsequently, the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C., where he served as a Professor and Chief of Gastrointestinal and Minimally Invasive Surgery, Director of the Carolinas Hernia Center, and Fellowship Director for the Advanced GI Surgery Fellowship.  In 2025, Dr. Heniford was recruited to build the Endeavor Health Abdominal Health and Hernia Repair Program in Evanston, Illinois.
