The conference opens with international developments in Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) and continues with a national update from NHS England. The focus of the conference is PROMs in clinical practice, the conference uses practical case studies of PROMs changing clinical practice alongside expert sessions on subjects such as can PROMs be used to make decisions around individual patients? Developing and using a generic Long-term conditions PROM, using PROMs in patients with deteriorating conditions, Using PROMs to educate and inform future patients about how they will feel along their patient journey, using PROMs to change commissioning practice, understanding PROMs results through audit and analysis of outlines. There will also be national updates on the future of PROMs including developments from the new National PROM for Major Trauma. In additional to this there will be a PROMs masterclass aimed at beginners to PROMs, an extended interactive session focusing on ePROMs and an extended session focusing on patient engagement and involvement in PROMs development.
