Course Description:
HPC provides the premier Hospitalist and Emergency Procedures CME courses to teach clinicians how to perform the 20 most common bedside procedures needed to work in the ER, ICU and hospital wards. Students learn the didactics via 17 online modules to view all the lectures and videos then attend a live CME course with100% hands-on skills lab training with six procedural expert physicians.
Course Objectives:
Students will learn the indications, contraindications, technique and complications for the 20 most common hospitalist and emergency procedures. Students will learn how to perform procedural sedation, the basics of mechanical ventilation, bedside ultrasound for diagnostic ultrasound, ultrasound-guided procedures and the coding and documentation of procedures.
