Scott Speier MD

Dr. Speier earned his medical degree from the University of California at Irvine School of Medicine with AOA honors and completed his family medicine residency at Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura, California. He has been a full-time emergency physician at the Ventura County Medical Center since 1998.

Dr. Speier has special expertise in point-of-care ultrasound, ultrasound-guided vascular access, airway management and the acute stabilization of traumatically injured patients. He is an exceptional instructor of bedside procedures and has been the recipient of the Ventura Family Residency program teacher of the year award on a couple of occasions.
