OVERVIEW

Cardiometabolic Risk Summit is organized by Healthcare Made Practical (HMP) Communications LLC and will be held from Sep 14 - 16, 2018 at San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter, San Antonio, Texas, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is primary care physicians, family medicine specialists, internists, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, registered dietitians, certified diabetes educators, and other related healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of patients at risk for cardiometabolic syndrome. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 20 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Conference Description:
Attending CRS provides you with updates and strategies for successful prevention and management of patients with cardiometabolic risk. Plus, the Summit provides time for networking with other clinicians. Join your peers for three days of in-depth study into cardiometabolic risk diagnosis, management and prevention.

Over the course of the 3-day Summit, take a clinical case journey via daily interactive discussions of treatment approaches centered on a particular patient in Addressing Your Patient’s Cardiometabolic Risk.

This discussion will include:
• Application of recent guidelines to inform treatment strategies
• Approaches to strengthening clinician/patient interactions and improve patient outcomes
• Focus on a multidisciplinary team approach
• Your questions answered by the panel

Learning Objectives:
After participating in the Cardiometabolic Risk Summit, participants should be able to:
• Examine the role of primary care in identifying and managing cardiometabolic risk factors, including diabetes, dyslipidemia, obesity, and hypertension.
• Incorporate evidence-based strategies in clinical practice to assist in counseling patients on optimal nutrition for cardiometabolic health.
• Analyze optimal diagnostic and treatment strategies to decrease cardiometabolic risk factors, delay progression of existing disease, and effectively manage clinically challenging cases.
• Implement recent guidelines for managing diabetes, dyslipidemia, obesity, and hypertension in clinical practice.
