Carol H. Wysham MD, FACP, FACE

Carol H. Wysham, MD, is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine and a Clinical Endocrinologist at Multicare Rockwood Clinic in Spokane, Washington. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in Endocrinology and Metabolism.

Dr. Wysham is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Diabetes Association and the Endocrine Society. She is a past president of the Endocrine Society and has chaired the ADA Clinical Practice Committee. Her research focuses on managing cardiovascular complications of diabetes, serving as principal investigator in major trials such as ACCORD, EMPA-REG, CANVAS, LEADER, EXCEL, and SURPASS-CVOT. She has published numerous articles in journals such as JAMA, Diabetes Care, and The Lancet.
