Dace L. Trence MD, FACE

Dace Trance, M.D., F.A.C.E., is a board-certified physician and director of the Endocrine and Diabetes Care Center at UWMC-Roosevelt. She is also a UW professor of Medicine and Endocrinology and Nutrition and director of the Endocrine Fellowship. Dr. Trence believes that teaching helps her learn. She strives to carefully listen to her patients.

Dr. Trence earned her M.D. at the University of Minnesota. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and is a fellow of the American College of Endocrinology. She serves on the board of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. She has been on the editorial boards of and published articles in multiple journals including Clinical Diabetes. She is the director of Endocrine Days as well as a co-chair of AACE's Pacific Northwest Chapter.
