Incorporating Long-Acting Insulin Therapy into the Physiologic Approach to Diabetes Management is organized by Healthcare Made Practical (HMP) Communications LLC and will be held from Oct 16, 2018 - Oct 16, 2019.

Target Audience:
This activity is designed for primary care physicians, family medicine specialists, internists, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, registered dietitians, certified diabetes educators, and other related healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of patients at risk for cardiometabolic syndrome.

• Implement strategies to overcome patient and provider barriers to the early initiation of insulin therapy
• Assess the latest clinical data surrounding the efficacy, safety, and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic profiles of available long-acting insulins (LAIs) to ensure appropriate use
• Develop individualized treatment plans that foster patient engagement and incorporate a physiologic approach to T2DM management
