OVERVIEW
The Hampton University Skin of Color Research Institute (HUSCRI) Skin of Color Symposium 2015: From Bench to Bedside is designed to disseminate and communicate the latest research on skin conditions that disproportionately impact minority populations. HUSCRI is pleased to host the fourth event in a series of biennial symposia, in partnership with the Department of Dermatology at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
The meeting will also feature a grant-writing workshop geared specifically towards individuals from groups underrepresented in the biomedical sciences.
HUSCRI has assembled an outstanding roster of speakers for this year’s event who, through a series of plenary sessions and interactive panel discussions, will address the latest developments in the diagnosis and management of selected conditions, including:
•Vitiligo
•Keloids
•Melasma
•Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation
•Hair Loss
•Lupus
