Meena Katdare PhD

Dr. Meena Katdare is an HU faculty member and a member of the faculty of EVMS. Katdare has made pioneering contributions towards developing natural less-toxic therapies for the prevention and treatment of cancer. Her broad range of scientific knowledge in the field of nutrition, cancer prevention and cell and molecular biology proves an unprecedented contribution as she leads the research program at HUSCRI. Katdare, who has over 30 years of experience, comes to HUSCRI from Weill Medical College (WCMC) of Cornell University in New York, one of the nation's top-ranked clinical and medical research centers in the country. She has served as a full-time faculty member and director at WCMC. Katdare has received many awards and honors in recognition of her important contributions to research, including the NIH-NCI ROI Five-Year Research Grant, the NIH New Investigator Award and the Senior Fulbright-Fellow Award.
