7th European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) Dermatological Meeting in Ticino

The European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology to create an opportunity to meet with those in the field of dermatology for our local event.

After six successful editions, the EADV is glad to continue this annual project and renew its commitment to promote research, education and training in dermatology and venereology. Researchers and clinicians active in the area will discuss the latest advances achieved in the field on topics chosen by dermatologists, allergologists, immunologists, oncologists and internists. The title "From the Bench to the Clinic" indicates the structure and the development of the meeting: it will consist of morning session that will illustrate the role played by the immune system in specific skin diseases ("Immune Responses and Skin Pathology"), followed by an afternoon oriented to clinical practice, treatments and therapies of dermatopathologies ("Update on "Hot Topics" in Dermatology").

The EADV currently represents the largest non-profit organization of dermatology and venereology at a European level and organizes annual congresses, offers regular online training courses, specialisation and refresher courses for Continuing Medical Education (CME). The Academy also aims to educate patients and act on behalf of them, in particular of those suffering from skin and venereal diseases.
