Carlo Gelmetti MD

Carlo Gelmetti was born in Milan (Italy) and studied medicine at the University of Milan Medical School and then Dermatology under the late professor Ferdinando Gianotti. Professor of Dermatology and Venereology since 2001, he has been the Head of the Pediatric Dermatology Unit, Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda “Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico”, until November 2020 when he retired. Member of many academic societies (EADV, AAD, ADA, ISPD, ESPD) he is particularly interested in genodermatoses, vascular anomalies, exanthems, atopic dermatitis, nevi, and history of dermatology.
