Robert E. Hunger MD, PhD

Robert E. Hunger MD, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor at the Department of Dermatology, University of Berne, Switzerland where he is head of Dermato-Oncology. He received his MD-PhD from the University of Bern in 1996 where he also completed a residency in Dermatology in 2001.

He completed a postdoctoral research fellowship about CD1 restricted T-cell immune responses in the skin at the Department of Dermatology, University of California (UCLA) in Los Angeles. His main research interests are the analysis of the skin immune system in inflammatory skin diseases and especially also in skin cancer.
