OVERVIEW

MEEI Glaucoma and Neuro-Ophthalmology Fall Festival 2018 is organized by Partners HealthCare, Massachusetts Eye and Ear, Harvard Medical School (HMS) Department of Ophthalmology and will be held from Sep 14 - 16, 2018 at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston, Massachusetts, United States of America.

The target audience for this medical event is local, regional, and national ophthalmologists and health professionals including glaucoma specialists, neuro-ophthalmologists, comprehensive ophthalmologists, optometrists, trainees, and allied health professionals who provide care for glaucoma patients. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 18.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Learning Objectives:
• Identify clinical scenarios where ophthalmic imaging is beneficial in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma
• Describe new medical therapies into the care of glaucoma patients.
• Recognize new techniques and current advances that address known complications of glaucoma surgery
• Recognize the benefits and limitations of the current treatments for glaucoma
• Identify dependent and independent factors in open-angle glaucoma
• Identify glaucoma patients who should be evaluated for other optic neuropathies
• Identify a wide range of common visual problems that are likely to be seen in their practices
• Develop improved diagnostic skills for neuro-ophthalmic disorders.
• Describe how to diagnose and treat patients presenting with, non-arteritic ischemic optic neuropathy, anisocoria, strabismus, tumors affecting the visual pathways, and adult and pediatric idiopathic intracranial hypertension, also known as pseudotumor cerebri.
