Milica Margeta MD, PhD

Milica Margeta, M.D., Ph.D., a physician and researcher specializing in glaucoma, recently joined the staff of the Mass. Eye and Ear Glaucoma Service. She is currently accepting new patients at the Mass. Eye and Ear Longwood

Dr. Margeta’s clinical interests include the medical and surgical management of moderate, advanced and complex glaucoma. She will also pursue glaucoma research with a focus on inflammation, neuroprotection, macrophages and microglia. She is the tenth K12 Scholar in the Harvard Vision Clinical Scientist Development Program, a program funded by the National Institutes of Health/National Eye Institute, that will facilitate her research on developing novel neuroprotective strategies in glaucoma treatment.
