Dr. Hoguet specializes in the diagnosis and management of primary and secondary glaucoma in adults and children. A top-notch surgeon, she focuses on complicated glaucoma surgery and pediatric glaucoma, as well as cataract treatment and surgery in glaucoma patients.

After graduating from Stanford University with election into Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, Dr. Hoguet obtained her MD from Duke University. Subsequently, she completed her ophthalmology residency at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, where she was appointed Chief Resident in Ophthalmology. Her clinical, surgical, and research interests in glaucoma and cataracts led her to pursue a glaucoma fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida.

In addition to studying the diagnosis, classification, and categorization of childhood glaucoma, Dr. Hoguet conducts research on surgical innovations and techniques of glaucoma surgery, focusing on tube shunt surgery. Additionally, she is interested in the diagnosis, classification, and categorization of childhood glaucoma. Awarded numerous honors for her research, Dr. Hoguet has received a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Training Fellowship, a National Eye Institute Travel Grant for the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology annual meeting, and the Louis J. Girard Award for excellence in research during residency. She is a professional member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society, and Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
