Dr. M. Lisa McHam specializes in cataract surgery and the medical, laser, and surgical treatment of glaucoma. She has a particular interest in cataract surgery in glaucoma patients, including the use of new minimally invasive glaucoma procedures.
Dr. McHam graduated magna cum laude from Duke University. She attended Baylor College of Medicine in her home state of Texas where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and fellowship in glaucoma at Tufts. Dr. McHam is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is a member of the American Glaucoma Society and Chandler-Grant Glaucoma Society. She lectures at regional as well as national ophthalmology meetings.
