The target audience for this medical event is diabetes and wound healing specialists, vascular surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, podiatric surgeons, plastic surgeons, endocrinologists, family practitioners, infectious disease specialists, cardiovascular & endovascular specialists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, physical therapists, certified diabetes educators, peripheral nerve specialists and healthcare practitioners interested in the management and treatment of diabetic foot and limb salvage. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 25 Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credits.

Course Description :
Diabetic Limb Salvage Conference is a multidisciplinary team approach meeting that provides each member of the healthcare team with the education and resources needed to heal wounds and prevent amputations. It features a prominent international faculty that promotes the importance of a multispecialty approach in limb salvage. The course is designed for healthcare practitioners of all specialties and promotes an evidence-based approach with emphasis on take-home points, techniques, and functional outcomes. The meeting format will include didactic lectures, specialty symposia, and video surgical case demonstrations for the purpose of providing an interactive learning experience.

Course Objectives :

• Examine the options in vascular interventional technology and techniques, both surgical and endovascular

• Integrate into their practices the knowledge obtained through the didactic lectures, panel discussions, and video surgical cases.
