OVERVIEW
31st Annual Psych Congress is organized by Psych Congress Network and will be held from Oct 25 - 28, 2018 at Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Florida, United States of America.
The target audience for this medical event is psychiatrists, primary care physicians, psychologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, psychiatric nurses, and other healthcare professionals who seek to improve the care of patients with mental health disorders. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 27.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Conference Description:
Psych Congress serves as a unique, integrated forum to connect members of the entire mental health team - psychiatrists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, psychologists, primary care physicians, and other mental health professionals - with the foremost experts in mental health to improve patient outcomes through education. No other mental health conference offers this level of practical education combined with state-of-the-art treatment approaches and emerging research findings.
Learning Objectives:
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
• Identify the etiology, pathophysiology and neural pathways of various psychiatric disorders and their effects on patients;
• Implement evidence-based models on the use of psychotherapeutic and pharmacotherapeutic interventions to develop treatment plans, predict treatment response, optimize remission and prevent relapse;
• Employ strategies to identify and remove barriers to treatment to improve patient outcomes in the acute and long-term management of psychiatric disorders; and
• Assess psychiatric disorders, as well as patients’ overall health, including comorbidities, with the goal of improving diagnosis and treatment.
