Susan P. Weinstein MD

Dr. Susan P. Weinstein is an Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Weinstein went to medical school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. During medical school, she completed a year-long Howard Hughes Research Fellowship from 1991-1992 resulting in a publication in the National Academy of the Sciences Journal. Upon graduation from medical school, Dr. Weinstein stayed on at UPENN for both her Radiology residency and Women's Imaging Fellowship. After completion of Radiology training, Dr. Weinstein remained as faculty in the Department of Radiology.

Currently, her role at Penn Medicine includes Director of Breast MRI, Breast Cancer Leadership Committee of the University of Pennsylvania Health System, and oversight of the breast imaging curriculum for the radiology residency program. She also is a Director of the University of Pennsylvania Health System Breast Imaging Patient Care Network which oversees clinical policies involving breast imaging for all member hospitals of PENN Medicine.
