Breast Imaging in the Caribbean: Radiology CME is organized by Penn Medicine - Department of Radiology and will be held during Jan 07 - 10, 2018 at Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman, George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 19.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Conference Objectives are:
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
• Explain the roles and potential benefits of digital breast tomosynthesis and synthetic 2D imaging in the screening and diagnosis of breast cancer and benign breast diseases.
• Utilize the data on the use of breast MRI and ultrasound in the supplemental screening of high and intermediate risk women as well as women with dense breasts.
• Discuss the emerging technologies of ultrasound elastography and abbreviated breast MRI.
• Demonstrate how to improve image-guided breast biopsy skills.
