Sidney Chu FRCOT, PhD, MSc, OTR

Dr. Sidney Chu trained as an Occupational Therapist in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Department of Rehabilitation Sciences in 1982. He moved to the United Kingdom in 1987 after working for about 5 years as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist in a charity organisation for children with special needs in Hong Kong. He has extensive experience in working with children with different disability conditions in various service settings.

He was the manager of a large multi-agency funded paediatric occupational therapy service for children with different disability conditions within different acute, community, primary care, mental health, early years, education, social care and public health settings in the London Borough of Ealing. The service was regarded as the centre of excellency in the country.
