Ronni Mikkelsen MD

Ronni Mikkelsen, M.D., is an Interventional neuroradiologist at Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark. Dr. Mikkelsen's main interest is the treatment of stroke and other acute vascular conditions of the central nervous system. He has extensive experience in conveying his knowledge of vascular diseases as well as neuroanatomy and is both co-course director for the national neuroradiology course for the radiology residents in Denmark, as well as a long-standing lecturer at the department of biomedicine at Aarhus University, where he teaches neuroanatomy. His contribution to the medical literature includes being a co-author of the TENSION study.
