Patrick H. Waring, M.D. is a leader in the field of precision spine-related pain management. Dr. Patrick Waring, the founder of the Pain Intervention Center, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management specialist. After graduating from Jesuit High School, he attended the University of Notre Dame and Tulane University Medical School, graduating from both with high honors. He was named the “Outstanding Graduate Resident” from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he completed his fellowship in Anesthesiology. In 2003, Dr. Waring was named one of only 43 instructors in the prestigious Spine Intervention Society where he continues to serve as a senior instructor.
He is a forerunner in the practice of interventional pain medicine and is respected for his success in treating spine pain through non-narcotic, non-surgical, minimally invasive techniques, all expertly performed under fluoroscopic x-ray guidance.
