Joseph Jankovic, M.D. is Professor of Neurology, Distinguished Chair in Movement Disorders, and Founder and Director of the Parkinson's Disease Center and Movement Disorders Clinic, Department of Neurology, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. He is also the director of the Parkinson’s Foundation Center of Excellence for and the Tourette Association of America Center of Excellence. After completing his Neurology training at Columbia University, New York City, he joined the faculty of Baylor College of Medicine in 1977.

Dr. Jankovic is a past president of the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (IPMDS) and currently serves as the President of the International Neurotoxin Association. Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and an Honorary Member of the IPMDS, American Neurological Association, Australian Association of Neurologists, and French Neurological Society, Dr. Jankovic has served as the principal investigator on numerous clinical trials
