Heather Brady, Ph.D. RDN, LDN is a nutritionist and a faculty member at the University of Colorado. After earning her undergraduate degree from St. Vincent College, Dr. Brady completed her Master’s Degree in exercise physiology from Kansas State University and earned her doctorate degree in Preventive Medicine from the University of Colorado. She completed her post-doctoral research studies in the area of Women’s Health and Cancer Prevention. Dr. Brady has authored and co-authored several publications and has lectured both nationally and internationally. She has received several grant and fellowship awards aimed at her research initiative to better understand the relationship between dietary intake and the prevention of chronic disease.
Dr. Brady has been honored to be an invited speaker at numerous health conferences, community outreach events, and to appear on television as a panelist and interviewee. In addition to her academic career, she is also nutrition consultant specializing in clinical nutrition and corporate wellness. Dr. Brady enjoys practicing what she preaches and has completed over 100 marathons and ultramarathons. Along with running, yoga is her favorite form of stress reduction. Dr. Brady does not have a vested interest, financial or personal relationship with any commercial interest producing, marketing, reselling, or distributing a product or service.
