Ginger P. Schirmer PhD, RD

Ginger Schirmer, PhD, RD, obtained her doctoral degree in Nutrition with a specialty in biochemistry from Auburn University and a Masters of Science in Exercise Science from Georgia State University. Dr. Schirmer is a nationally recognized speaker and lectures extensively to physicians, nursing professionals, pharmacists, and other health professionals and has authored several educational books. Dr. Schirmer has written over 80 educational courses for medical professionals including this course. She has been an invited nutrition expert for TV and radio news shows nationally. Prior to lecturing professionally, Dr. Schirmer was a university professor and worked as a clinical dietitian for 5 years and has many years experience as a nutrition and fitness expert. Dr. Schirmer is the Continuing Medical Education Director for MED2000. Dr. Schirmer does not have a vested interest, financial or personal relationship with any commercial interest producing, marketing, reselling, or distributing a product or service.
