Dennis F. Bandyk MD

Dennis Bandyk, MD, is a board-certified vascular surgeon who diagnoses and treats people with disorders affecting the arteries, veins, and lymphatic systems. He provides comprehensive medical treatment and reconstructive vascular surgical and endovascular (less invasive) techniques for individuals with all types of vascular conditions. His interests include vascular graft infection, carotid artery stenosis, and thoracic outlet syndrome.

As a professor in the Department of Surgery, Dr. Bandyk instructs medical students, residents, and fellows at UC San Diego School of Medicine. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles, as well as numerous book chapters. Dr. Bandyk completed a general surgery residency at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. He earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. He is board-certified in vascular surgery. Dr. Bandyk is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery and the American College of Surgeons.
