Welcome to the Austrian Society for Internal and General Intensive Care Medicine and Emergency Medicine.
Their society was founded in Vienna on December 10, 1970 as a working group for internal intensive care medicine following a decision by a proponent committee. The Proponents' Committee met for the first time on April 23, 1970 for a joint meeting under the direction of Prof. Deutsch and subsequently worked out the statutes of the society.
Mission:
• The promotion of charitable research work in the field of intensive care medicine
• The training and further education of internist doctors in this special field
• The support of research projects
