Intensive Medicine Compact 2020

Intensive Medicine Compact is organized by Austrian Society for Internal and General Intensive Care Medicine and Emergency Medicine / Osterreichische Gesellschaft fur Internistische und Allgemeine Intensivmedizin und Notfallmedizin (OGIAIN) and will be held from Apr 18 - 24, 2020 at Hotel Hollweger, St. gilgen, Salzburg, Austria.

Description:
The concept of the course is to illuminate intensive care in the course of a week as broadly theoretical as practical. A variety of topics and skills needed in daily life in an intensive care unit are presented and practiced.
The course is intended for colleagues who already have some intensive medical knowledge and want to deepen it comprehensively. Another target group are all those colleagues who are considering completing the European Diploma in Intensive Care (EDIC).
A special concern and aim of this course is to provide medical background knowledge for the care of critically ill patients in a focused and practical way. Intensive medicine is presented as a comprehensive and interdisciplinary subject area.
