OVERVIEW

The Genetics & Molecular Components of Glioma Patients is organized by American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) and would be held during Feb 22, 2016 - Feb 22, 2019. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 0.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Conference Objectives are :
• Describe the histological classification of low and high-grad gliomas.
• Describe the role of IDH1, ARTRX, and 1p19q co-deletions, and MGMT and TERT promoter mutations on glioma growth.
• Recognize the significance of common molecular and genetic mutations on glioma response to chemoradiation and prognosis.
