2019 Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy Review Course is organized by College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists (CPNP) and will be held from Jan 09, 2019 - Sep 09, 2019.

Target Audience:
The Psychiatric Pharmacotherapy Review Course (Review Course) is designed for two primary audiences:
• It offers a review of current evidence-based pharmacotherapy for psychiatric and neurologic conditions for BCPP certified pharmacists seeking BCPP Recertification credit.
• It serves as an educational tool for other health care providers on current evidence-based pharmacotherapy for psychiatric and neurologic conditions.

Description:
The Review Course is not designed to develop more in-depth "subspecialty" knowledge. Course content is structured to provide a comprehensive review of the three psychiatric pharmacy domains specified by the Specialty Council in the current edition of the BPS Candidate's Guide. Inclusion of the Review Course as part of the recertification program is critical in ensuring the BCPP has systematically reviewed and assessed his/her core knowledge in the psychiatric specialty practice. This course is a knowledge-based educational program designed for pharmacists to acquire factual knowledge.

• BCPPs recertifying via continuing education are required to complete the Review Course a minimum of once during their 7-year recertification cycle.
• BCPPs recertifying via continuing education can use the Review Course a maximum of twice for recertification credit during their 7-year recertification cycle.

To satisfactorily complete the recertification programming and receive 20 hours of BCPP Recertification and ACPE credit, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Abide by a confidentiality and honesty statement requiring individual completion of the Review Course.
• Complete an online assessment by the deadline of July 9, 2019.
• Meet the minimum passing score to be determined by a panel of experts within four (4) weeks following the exam deadline.
• Completion of an activity evaluation form.
• Partial credit is not provided; your exam score must meet or exceed the cut-off score in order to receive the 20 hours of credit.
