This course features 20 sessions designed to update primary care clinicians in rapidly changing therapeutic areas. The emphasis is on practical and useful information for clinical practice. 

Presented by Continuing Education Company (CEC) for the past 26 years, our Primary Care CME Conference Series is designed to update primary care clinicians in rapidly changing therapeutic areas. This CME activity is comprised of recorded video lectures from conferences that took place in 2017. The emphasis of this course is on practical and useful information for clinical practice. This CME program will educate and promote improved patient outcomes in a broad range of therapeutic areas commonly encountered in the primary care practice. This activity will highlight the latest science related to a variety of specialty areas, presented in a practical and patient-focused manner relevant to the primary care setting.

Topics include: Gastroenterology, Celiac Disease, Pharyngitis, Syncope, Cardiology, Depression/Anxiety Disorders, Acne, Nevi and Melanoma, Contraception, Diabetes, Weight Management, Rheumatology, and Women’s Health.

Learning Objectives:
As a result of this educational activity, participants should be better able to:
• Assess and provide patients with an accurate diagnosis and optimal care for a broad range of disorders seen in primary care.
• Utilize current guidelines in the diagnosis and management of commonly encountered therapeutic issues.
