Anita Nelson MD

Dr. Anita Nelson, Medical Director of Essential Access Health’s Research Center, has published over 200 articles in professional journals and authored over a dozen books, including Contraceptive Technology and Managing Contraception. She has conducted extensive research for the National Institutes of Health and commercial companies in the areas of contraception, menopause, and gynecologic infection.

Dr. Nelson is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the David Geffen School of Medicine, the University of California, Los Angeles; Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California; and Professor and Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific.
