Preparation, Dispensing, Monitoring and Transition of Care is organized by American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) and will be held during Aug 16, 2016 - Dec 12, 2019.
The target audience for this medical event is targeted to all members of the healthcare team who care for patients requiring enteral nutrition or anyone seeking a comprehensive overview of enteral nutrition topics. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Conference Objectives :
• Describe processes for procuring, selecting and preparing enteral formulas including closed system, powdered and blenderized formulas.
• Describe required elements of the EN label and labeling processes necessary to avoid errors.
• Outline the essential parameters to monitor in enterally fed patients to minimize and/or prevent complications.
• Summarize key criteria and factors to safely transition an enterally fed patient from one care setting to another.
