Upon successful completion of this educational activity, participants should be better able to:
• Review the mechanisms of action of available and emerging therapeutic agents for the management of moderate-to-severe UC.
• Evaluate the preclinical and clinical data regarding the safety and efficacy of new and emerging therapeutic agents for the management of moderate-to-severe UC.
• Differentiate available and emerging therapies for the management of moderate-to-severe UC based on mechanism of action, safety, efficacy, and administration.
