Dr. Wolf completed medical school, as well as his internship and residency at the West Virginia School of Medicine in Morgantown. During his fellowship in gastroenterology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio, Dr. Wolf began his research on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). He then joined the full-time faculty at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta for eight years prior to going into private practice.

For more than two decades, Dr. Wolf has focused his medical career on the evaluation and management of IBD – both Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. His ongoing clinical research covers many aspects of these diseases, including advancements in diagnostic testing, treatments with biologics and new small molecules, as well as the use of colonoscopy and nutritional therapy. As a primary IBD care physician, he is actively involved in the development of shared decision making practices between both patient and physician.
