Description:
The eContouring for Lung Cancer Case Library contains 4 cases, case vingette, and reference documents from cases from the 2017 ASTRO Annual Meeting. These cases give users the ability to practice contouring and to receive a metric score to compare the user's contours to that of expert faculty.

Stereotactic ablative radiotherapy for early stage lung cancer has yielded outstanding outcomes comparable to radical resection.The approach requires special technologic requirements and contouring expertise to be safely performed. For advanced lung cancers, standard fractionation with intensity modulate radiotherapy requires understanding of a different set of dose constraints and target objectives. This session will review both approaches.

Learning Objectives:
• Identify basic anatomy in the cases presented and understand normal tissue dose constraints and target dose objectives.
• Explain the rationale for current contouring approaches for common clinical scenarios for lung stereotactic radiotherapy.
• Determine the G(I)TV and PTV for stereotactic radiotherapy to the lung.
• Describe how to adapt tissue constraints for “difficult” cases.
