Overview:
This advanced virtual activity in otolaryngology will provide participants with the most current clinical information and best practices associated with diagnosis, treatment strategies and management of both common and complex otologic disorders. Topics covered include imaging, multiple aspects of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), otologic issues in gender confirming surgery, MIS approaches to superior cancel surgery, endoscopy ear surgery, treatment for nasal polyps and surgical approaches to hyperparathyroidism, mandible replacement, pediatric ENT techniques and rhinoplasty. To encourage interaction among faculty and participants, this activity includes ample time for Q&A sessions following each topic area.

Objectives:
• Incorporate new strategies in the management of patients with ear, nose, and throat disorders.
• Describe treatment options for sinus tumors and the use of add-on treatments for nasal polyps
• Evaluate the most recent approaches to obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), including hypoglossal nerve stimulation, muscle exercises, and dental device
• Differentiate among surgical vs. non-surgical techniques for managing new patients with head and neck diseases
• Explore the otologic implications of gender confirming surgery, including transgender surgery, vocal surgery, facial plastic surgery and speech therapy
• Examine minimally invasive superior canal surgery and endoscopic ear surgery and their indication
