Dr. Yufei Chen, MD, is a fellowship-trained General and Endocrine Surgeon and Associate Professor of Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, where he specializes in advanced surgical care of endocrine conditions affecting the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands. Dr. Chen received his medical degree from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. He completed his General Surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, followed by advanced training in endocrine surgery, which focuses on operative management of complex endocrine tumors and disorders.
In clinical practice, Dr. Chen provides surgical treatment for a range of endocrine conditions, including thyroid nodules and cancers, parathyroid disease, pheochromocytomas, and adrenal tumors, as well as minimally invasive and robotic approaches to hernia and general surgical procedures. He serves as co-director of the Multidisciplinary Adrenal Program at Cedars-Sinai, offering comprehensive care that integrates surgical expertise with multidisciplinary evaluation.
