Description :
The field of cancer is a rapidly evolving field with new treatment approaches moving to clinic on a daily basis. Radiation Oncology is no different. It is extremely difficult for a practicing clinician to stay abreast of new developments in cancer care. This course serves to crystallize the “best practices” for the disease sites commonly encountered in a busy radiation oncology clinic by providing the latest research and evidence. This course serves to provide the clinician with insight into emerging trends in the field of radiation oncology.

Learning Objectives :
• Explain the standard therapeutic approach to patients most commonly encountered in a radiation oncology clinic.
• Describe the radiobiological and physical principles that inform current clinical therapeutic paradigms.
