Dry eye is a multifactorial disease of the ocular surface characterized by a loss of homeostasis of the tear film, accompanied by ocular symptoms. This CME activity will discuss therapeutic strategies for the treatment of the ocular surface pre- and postoperatively.
Upon successful completion of this activity, participants should be better able to differentiate current therapeutic strategies for the treatment of ocular surface disorders to optimize therapy and improve patient outcomes.
