The 12th Pisa International Diabetic Foot Course is organized by Conference Organisation, Association Development & Project Management (CAP) Partner and will be held from Oct 06 - 09, 2021 at San Ranieri Hotel, Pisa, Tuscany, Italy. This Conference is also available as Live webinar.

Target Group:
The courses are open to anyone involved in the treatment or management of diabetic foot patients, but the primary target groups are:

• Clinicians with various professions (e.g. endocrinologists, vascular and orthopaedic surgeons, specialised nurses, chiropodists or podiatrists)
• Company representatives and newly appointed managers with an interest in the development of the structure of treatment within the diabetic foot area (NB! Requires confirmation of sponsorship from the company in question. Furthermore, for each company representive registered, the company must also register 1 clinician)

Description:
The Pisa International Diabetic Foot Courses are based on the knowledge and structure of treatment offered by the specialised diabetic foot clinic at the University Hospital of Pisa. The courses are used as a basis for building up an international educational network within the area and for raising political awareness of the challenges related to treatment and prevention of the diabetic foot.

By combining lectures from different specialists and individual training in the clinic, course participants will gain insight in both the theory of the field and the practical methods used in the clinic. By also focusing on the structure of treatment and guidelines for establishing a diabetic foot clinic, the courses reach out to clinicians as well as hospital department or clinic management.

As an overall objective of the courses, the organisers aim to support the implementation of the European consensus on treatment of the diabetic foot, based on the existing guidelines.

Aims of the Course:
The Pisa International Diabetic Foot Courses aim to:
• Increase the knowledge and operative skills in the management of the diabetic foot.
• Support the establishment of multidisciplinary diabetic foot clinics or departments based on the recommendations of the International Consensus Document.
• Facilitate international consensus on structure of treatment of the diabetic foot.

4 Day Theoretical Course & Practical Training:
