Nina L. Petrova MD

Nina Petrova is originally from Varna, Bulgaria. She has graduated from the Medical University of Varna. She was appointed physician in the Clinic of Endocrinology in the University Hospital of Varna where she completed her specializations in internal medicine and endocrinology, diabetes and metabolic diseases. She is a research fellow in the Diabetic Foot Clinic at King’s College Hospital and an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at King’s College London with a special interest in the Charcot foot. She recently completed in King’s College London her PhD studies on the pathogenesis of the Charcot's foot. She has made important observations on the Charcot's foot, which she has presented at Diabetes UK, European Association of Study of Diabetes, American Diabetes Association, and International Symposium on the Diabetic Foot and published in peer reviewed journals.
