Description:
The course will be delivered using a combination of small group discussions, cases, practical exercises in deformity analysis and correction, and performing osteotomies on anatomical specimens. All activities are moderated by expert faculty in a highly interactive learning environment with a 3:1 participant to faculty ratio. Participants are encouraged to discuss the cases and content in an open manner and to share their own experiences.
Goal of the Course:
The goal of this course is to help participants become comfortable with lower extremity deformity analysis and osteotomy planning.
Surgical techniques will be taught to correctly perform deformity correction in the settings of fracture malunions and nonunions and leg length discrepancy while preserving joint health and addressing bone loss.
