This year, the 15th Head & Neck Symposium will deal with the role of imaging and image guidance in diagnosing and treating head and neck cancer, which plays a pivotal role in cancer treatment progress. In addition to the latest insights into molecular biology and the pathogenesis of cancer, which includes the role played by HPV as well as the advancement of immunotherapy advancements in the field of emerging technologies have gradually brought medical imaging to the forefront of diagnosis and treatment of neck and head cancer in the past decade.

Today, numerous imaging applications have a major role to play in the staging and diagnosis of disease; however, they also play a significant role in the active treatment of head and neck cancers and monitoring.
