Description:
Internists and general internists are responsible for providing complex care to patients in both ambulatory and inpatient settings. We must be mindful of issues such as patient safety, healthcare quality, and stewardship.

Participants will have the opportunity to hear from internationally renowned researchers, educators, clinicians, and other professionals throughout the meeting. The program covers all current issues and topics relevant to General Internal Medicine.

These presentations will spark a conversation about how internists, general internists, and other professionals can help to incorporate the best evidence to provide high-quality care.

• Maintain competence in a wide range of topics related to Internal Medicine and General Internal Medicine.
• Discuss emerging topics, published and unpublished.
• Create a network of general internists from both the community and university setting.
• To promote General Internal Medicine as an option for residents in training.
