George M. Sulamanidze MD, PhD

Dr. George was Was born in 1979, in Georgia. In 2002 graduated from Russia State Medical University. In 2004 he finished his clinical residency and in 2007 – his postgraduate study at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Microsurgery, Russian Scientific Center of Surgery (RSSC). In 2008 defended the thesis – “Modern methods of liposuction”. He is a member of the Georgian and Russian Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Association. From 2001 – an honored member of the Japan Society of Liposuction Surgery. Since 2003 he has been a member of the French Aesthetic Surgery Association and from 2005 became a member of the Dermato-Surgeon Association. In 2017, he became the honored representative of IMCAS Academy. Published more than 70 scientific works, 20 of them in international publications. In 2008, he was the winner of the nomination “Golden Lancet” in Russia and became the best plastic surgeon of the year. He has permanent oral presentations about plastic and aesthetic surgery at different congresses and conferences in various cities.

He frequently is invited to different cities like Lisbon, Paris, Madrid, Darmstadt, Palm-Springs, Caracas, Medellin, Schengen, Linz, Innsbruck, Napoli, Rome, Milan, Dubai, Beirut, Tokyo to conduct training, seminars, and representative operations. Along with doctors Marlen and Konstantine Sulmanidzes, he is the author of the Aptos threads method idea. He holds 16 patents and priorities in the development of plastic surgery equipment, and 8 of them are international. Among them are Aptos threads, wire scalpel, a new implant for aesthetic operations, the medical bra, method of mammoplasty, and dermotension. He is the inventor of a number of new original methods of surgical operations.
