Dr. Victor Gabriel Clatici is a Dermatologist with over 20 years of experience and an Assistant Professor in Dermatology for almost ten years. He contributed extensively to the world medical literature with publications appearing in the Journal of American Academy of Dermatology, Journal of European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Dermatologic Therapy, Clinical and Experimental Dermatology, Medica – A Journal Of Clinical Medicine. He published more than 70 articles, including in academic journals indexed by PubMed (the actual „Hall of Fame” of scholarly research). He presented over 500 presentations in both National and International Conferences and Congresses( including AMWC Monaco, IMCAS Paris, 5CC Barcelona), from Paris to Istanbul, from Monaco to Shenzen, from Barcelona to Chicago, and from Moscow to Samarkand. He develops an original and trademark concept, The Seven S of Skin® Concept, a veritable connection between Health and Beauty, the implication of sun and sugar, smoking and skincare, sleep and stress in our health and beauty.
He was the first in The World who published about the Butterfly Effect and Dermatology, and one of the first who presented reports at International Congresses about the connection between Dermatology and Personal Development, the relationship between aggregation of marginal gains and Anti Aging Medicine, and the role of habits in chronic skin diseases. He was the first who wrote in the Romanian language about quality of life and psoriasis (2001) and vaccines for sexually transmitted infections (2002). Scientific articles in Venereology were about interactions between sexually transmitted infections and HIV, infections with Chlamydia Trachomatis, Herpes Simplex Virus, epidemiology of HPV infections, and use of microbicides for prevention of sexually transmitted diseases. In clinical research trials, he was both Principal Investigator and National Coordinator in National and International Studies, with responsibilities in International Clinical Trials to develop new drugs. Also, he was from 2014 to 2020 Editor In Chief of the Romanian Journal of Clinical and Experimental Dermatology - RoJCED, open access, peer review, academic journal available both in print and online.
